The village stands by the edge of a stream with a bridge leading to it, over which people are crossing. In the background, overlooking the village on a
tree-filled hill above the mists, stands the Yugyoji Temple. In the foreground stands a torii other by the bank of the stream. This station was crowded with
pilgrims visiting the famous temple and the neighboring shrines at this station. The imposing buildings of Yugyoji Temple (built in 1325) stand on the side of a hill in the background. The torii itself leads to the Enoshima benten Shrine, which is dedicated to the Goddess of Music.
