Established in 1901, this is the original branch of the long-standing food and dining establishment. Nakamuraya serves its own ‘Nakamuraya Curry’ as well as Western, Chinese and French cuisines all under the one roof. Located on the basement level is a coffee shop, with a menu centred on dishes using bread. The first floor has shops selling bread, Japanese and western-style sweets and prepared foods. The second to fifth floors are home to a range of both informal and elegant restaurants as well as a space for functions. Head to Nakamuraya at lunchtime for a traditional Indian curry buffet. Nakamuraya started out as a bread manufacturer and as such has made a name for itself for its curry pan (curry bread), nikuman (meat buns) and anman (adzuki bean buns).
