From the collection of Thomas Albert Glover (Japanese name: Kuraba Tomisaburo). He was the son of Thomas Blake Glover, British trader. He ordered fish paintings around the Nagasaki area from local artists. This book was published 60 years after Kuraba's death and contains 200 paintings from his 60 paintings collection.
