Glass pen was invented by Japanese wind bell maker Sasaki Teijiro in 1902.
These pens use toughened glass, which is more difficult to process, but very strong.
Toughened glass and the classification of glass is one of the principal components of silicon glass mixed with acid, fused to the softening temperature and the increased hardness. Toughened is difficult to process and is very hard, not susceptible to rapid changes in temperature. Laboratory glassware is used as ingredients.
