Many Ukiyo-e artists painted pornography (called “Shunga”) in the Edo-era. There were many homosexual themes (called “ Danshoku”) among them.

Moronobu (?-1694), 17 pictures; Hanbe (unknown dates), 4 pictures; Jibe (1673-1704), 2 pictures; Sukenobu (1671-1750), 4 pictures; Masanobu (1686-1764), 2 pictures; Settei (1710-1786), 2 pictures; Harunobu (1724 or 25-1770), 2 pictures; Shusho (1726-1793), 2 pictures; Shigemasa (1739-1820), 1 picture; Setsukosai (1751-1781), 9 pictures; Hokusai (1760-1849), 1 picture.
