This museum has a collection of 249 artworks by Migishi Kotaro, a Sapporo-born painter who died at the tender age of 31 years of age. Seventy of these are permanently exhibited. Twice a year, special exhibitions of Migishi’s works are held. Also, recitals and concerts are held in the museum.
Hours: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Admitted by 4:30 p.m.)
Admission: Permanent Exhibition : Adults 250 (200) yen, College Students 150 (100) yen. (Parenthesised fees are for a group of more than 10.) Special Exhibition : Admission fee is set for each exhibition. *Elementary, junior high school and high school students, The Disabled, pensioners, and senior citizens over 65 years are admitted free.(Except Special Exhibition)
Closed Mondays, November 23, December 23, January 10 and from December 28 to January 4. Galleries may close temporary for installation between exhibitions.
