The house of Shingon School - Jingo-ji
Founded in the 9th century, Jingo-ji Temple is a beautiful temple, with lovely, quiet surroundings. Visitors can enjoy a beautiful walk in the garden, especially impressive in the autumn because of momiji (maples).
To cast away the evil spirits, visitors can engage into a local tradition - throwing clay discs in the valley below. A great collection of statues and painting from the Heian and Kamakura periods.
