Kaga Fly has a 420-year history, originally from needle making, to catch the ayu (the Japanese river trout). Kaga Fly has no sharp hook on the top of the needle, so the fish are not harmed a lot. There are 6000 different styles of fly, using various feathers, silk, urushi, gold leaf, and snake skin.
